James Turns Two

On June 15th, James turned two years old. I am so proud of how much he's learned and grown since his last birthday. It's truly amazing to me that babies can learn that much in twelve short months!

Last year at his first birthday he wasn't talking much at all, and he wasn't even standing on his own, never mind walking. Now you can't get him to stand still because he just wants to run everywhere. And he can speak in full sentences, count, and knows all of his colors. I'm a little biased, but he's a pretty smart boy. I really can't wait to see what the next year brings for him. It's going to be so fun to watch all of his new adventures.

James- thanks for being such a good son and big brother!! We love you! Mommy, Daddy, and Jopa

For a few different reasons, we weren't able to have a big, family birthday party for James this year. Instead we had a small birthday party at Eric and Brandy's house with Oma and Grandma Rejane. And on James' actual birthday, which was midweek, we had a cake at home with Grandma Pat, Grandpa Jim, and Great Gramma. We'll have to make up for the birthday party next year!
