James participated in first Easter Egg hunt. It was at the center of town and was set to begin at 10 a.m. Thankfully, we got there at exactly 10 because it was over by 10:05 a.m.!! They hid about 1500 eggs, but all those kids are FAST! Luckily, we had picked a spot where James was able to grab a few eggs on his own to put in his Elmo Easter basket. I don't think we have any photos because I was trying to help James, and Mike was video taping the five minute escapade. Joseph...was sleeping in the carriage.
The following weekend we had Easter at our house. Ethan and Brandy came up a few days early since they were on school vacation. It was so nice to spend a few relaxing days with them! Eric and Oma came up on Saturday morning. We colored eggs and relaxed some more, as the weather wasn't that nice. Ethan brought his Geo-caching GPS and we were able to do a few "hikes" to find the "treasures". It is a really fun way to hike and explore.
Our Easter morning started a little later than Ethan had hoped :-) He PATIENTLY waited for his cousin to wake up at 8:30 before starting the Easter Egg hunt from the Easter Bunny. Ethan is such a wonderful big cousin and a great kid. Once James was awake...chaos ensued! There were eggs everywhere...inside, outside, high and low. James started getting the hang of it with the help of Ethan. They both did a great job!
What a wonderful weekend!
There are over 100 photos from the weekend. Here is a link to all of them, but I will post a few.
