On December 11, 2012, we welcomed John Patrick Cook into our family! He weighed 8 lbs 2 ozs and was 20 inches long. A week after his due date, he finally decided to join us after a long day in the delivery room. At 4:06 p.m., he was finally born and we have fallen head over heels for him. James and Joseph love holding him, giving him kisses, and squeezing him...we try to limit the squeezing!
It was nice to have a couple weeks to settle in with him before Christmas. But he was definitely our favorite present this year! Thanks, Santa!! ;-)
Since John had a tough time through the delivery, the NICU team was on hand to get him stabilized. They did a GREAT job and we were very thankful for them and Dr. Hunter, who delivered him.
