Derek started at UMASS last week, but back in August we took a drive out to Amherst to take a look around the campus and to hopefully check out his dorm. When we arrived on campus, all the dorms were locked since it was still summer vacation. But we still walked around the campus to get an idea of where different buildings were located in relation to his dorm.
We walked back to the truck, which was parked next to the dorm. We saw someone entering his dorm and asked if we could take a quick look inside. And before long we were roaming around the Emerson Dorm to find Derek's first, college dorm room! YAY!
